Additionally, you’re selling your ability to assemble those components as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible and deliver them to the jobsite exactly when the customer needs them.
A hands-on approach introduces students to the opportunities available in component manufacturing.
The dramatic growth in participation has made our discussions livelier and more valuable and has allowed more component manufacturers (CMs) across the country to share their unique experiences and points of view.

R501.3 (IRC-12) or R302.13 (IRC-15) states the following – “Floor assemblies….shall be provided with a 1/2-inch (12.7 mm) gypsum wallboard membrane…… or equivalent…….

- To improve production areas, start with the “5S” approach: sort, straighten, scrub/sanitize, schedule and finally, score the result.
- The right people, the right customers, the right vendors, and most importantly, the right motives grow a successful business.
- Based on the recommendations of the IRC, IBC and ASCE 7, truss or rafter uplift connections should be designed for applied wind loads using MWFRS analysis.
- Individual truss and rafter members should be designed using C&C generated wind loads.
