SBCA’s Cold-Formed Steel Council (CFSC) provides supporting documentation relating to Cold-formed steel (CFS) truss quality control.

These are the items included in a steel truss QC inspections review:

Member types and thicknesses
Truss dimensions including span, height, right and left heels
Total fastener count
Joint and connections including number and size of fasteners, spacing and location of fasteners, number of fasteners with exposed threads and stripped threads, and a variety of types of gaps depending on the joint type
