Information On Combo Lock Plates

I am investigating an existing wood truss. The pressed plates used are stamped with “Combo Lock.” Do you happen to have any information on them? From what I have been able to determine, they have not been readily used in the last 10 to 15 years.

The Combo Lock truss plate was manufactured by Bowman, a division of Gang-Nail Systems, Inc. We can view two evaluation reports for more information on these plates. One is from BOCA (No. 81-61) dated 1982 and the other is from ICBO (No. 1695) dated 1985.
